After Care Associate
This part-time position serves as an after school caregiver working under the supervision of the after school manager. This individual reports to the director of auxiliary programs.
Responsibilities:
• Provides supervision of play and socialization.
• Oversees homework/study time.
• Observes activities to ensure safety of the children.
• Administers first aid, as needed.
• Interacts positively and constructively with parents.
• Is available Monday-Friday from 2:30-6:00 p.m. and early release days August-May (school year only).
Personal Characteristics/Qualifications:
• Grounded in the Christian faith and strong commitment to the mission of the school.
• Experience working with children in grades K-8.
• Dependable, strong work ethic.
• Caring, sensitive heart for children.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
